Ljubaschiwka (Ukrainian Любашівка ; Russian Любашёвка / Ljubaschjowka ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of Ukraine , about 165 kilometers north of Odessa removed. It is the center of the Lyubaschiwka Rajons of the same name and the village of Vysneve (Вишневе) also belongs to the settlement community .

history

The current settlement was built in the 18th century. In 1868, with the construction of the railway line from Odessa to today's Kropywnyzkyj (today part of the Borschtschi – Kharkiv railway ), a train station was built north of the village. There was also a larger Jewish community in town. This was completely expelled or wiped out during World War II . Since 1957 the place has the status of an urban-type settlement.
