The N 02 ( Cyrillic Н 02 ) is a trunk road of "national importance" in Ukraine . It leads from Lviv (Lemberg) in an easterly direction to Ternopil and thus connects the European route 40 via the ring road around Lemberg ( M 06 ) with the European route 50 .

history

This route belonged to the Austrian Crown Land of Galicia until 1918 and was called the Podolier Reichsstraße .

This road was part of the territory of the Second Polish Republic between 1918 and 1939 and was declared a state road ( droga państwowa ) by the Polish Road Act of December 10, 1920 .
