Hlewacha ( Ukrainian Глеваха , Russian Глеваха Glewacha ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Kiev Oblast with 8,800 inhabitants (2019).

Founded in the 15th century and first mentioned in writing in 1471, it has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1973.

Hlevakha is on, eponymous for the village, 15 km long river Hlewa ( Ukrainian Глева ) in the north of Rajon Vasylkiv on the border of Kiev-Sviatoshyn Raion . The city ​​center of Kiev can be reached after 30 km in a north-easterly direction via the M 05 trunk road leading past the settlement . The Vasylkiv Rajon Center is 15 km south.

On October 30, 2017, the Chechen doctor, Euromaidan activist and police lieutenant Amina Okujewa who had converted to Islam was the victim of an assassination attempt , presumably carried out by the Russian secret service FSB , near Hlewacha .
