Kosyn ( Ukrainian Козин ; Russian Козин Kosin , Polish Kozin ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Kiev Oblast with about 3,371 inhabitants (as of 2019).

Kozyn located in Rajon Obukhiv on a tributary of the Dnieper River , 30 km south of the center of Kiev , 10 km north of Rajonzentrum Obukhiv and 11 km northwest of the city Ukrainka . Regional road P – 1 runs through the village .

Kosyn was first mentioned in writing in the 11th century and has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1958.
