Piskiwka

Piskiwka ( Ukrainian Пісківка ; Russian Песковка Peskowka ) is an urban-type settlement in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 7,000 inhabitants (2018).

Piskiwka has been an urban-type settlement since 1938 and is located in Borodjanka district on the border with Zhytomyr Oblast . The M 07 trunk road runs not far north of the village , via which the Borodjanka district center can be reached after 35 km in an easterly direction. Piskiwka has a train station on the Kovel – Kiev railway line . The 18 km long Piskiwka , which flows into the Teteriw here, flows through the settlement . In addition to Piskiwka, the village of Raska, 7 km to the north, with around 150 inhabitants, belongs to the settlement council .
