Perejaslav ( Ukrainian Переяслав , from 1943 to 2019 Переяслав-Хмельницький Perejaslaw-Khmelnyzkyj ; Russian Переяслав-Хмельницкий. 700 inhabitants of the Ukrainian city ​​of Kiev -Khmelnitsky (2018). Pereyaslav played an important role in the history of Ukraine and Russia. The city was first mentioned in 907 as Perejaslav . The name of the city means "has taken over the glory". Formerly she was also called Переяславль Pereyaslavl and Переславль Руський Pereslavl Ruski .
