The village is located in the south of the Kherson Oblast 17 km northwest of the Rajons capital Henitschesk on the trunk road M 18 between Melitopol and Dschankoj in the Crimea .

history

The history of the place begins in 1874 with the construction of the railway line from Losowa to Sevastopol , in the course of the construction a workers' settlement was established and a train station was established. In 1938, the settlement around the station was elevated to an urban-type settlement.
