Verkhny Rohatschyk ( Ukrainian Верхній Рогачик ; Russian Верхний Рогачик Werchni Rogatschik ) is an urban-type in the north of the Ukrainian oblast Kherson 5600 inhabitants (2017). The settlement, founded in 1786, has been the administrative center of the raion of the same name since 1944 and received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1967.

The place is 180 km northeast of the Oblast capital Kherson and 58 km southwest of Enerhodar in the Oblast Zaporizhia on the Rohachyk River (Ukrainian Рогачик ).

The settlement Rats community next Verkhny Rohatschyk nor the villages include vyshneve (Ukrainian Вишневе ) with about 130 inhabitants, Sorja (Ukrainian Зоря ) with about 90 population, Wolodymyriwka (Ukrainian Володимирівка ) with 100 residents and Trudowyk (Ukrainian Трудовик ) with about 30 residents.
