Pitschhausen

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pitschhausen is a desert near Naila in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .

Pitschhausen was north of the town of Naila between the districts of Oberklingensporn and Schleifmühle . The area extends in the Selbitz valley to a mountain spur. The former place name has been preserved as a hallmark and street name. The outskirts have grown into the southern part of the corridor with a residential area.

When selling the reign Schauenstein from from Wolf Striegel to the Nuremberg Castle Count "Pitschesgrün" appears in the two sale deeds of 1386. This was the site of an exclave of the rule that only from pasture Green formed a closed territory. Pitschhausen was later part of the manors Froschgrün and Schneckengrün . For Pitschhausen, the documents refer to one farm or two half farms. In 1509 Hans bought from Reitsenstein by Hans von Dobeneck a courtyard in "Petzhausen". Fritz von Sparneck was among the witnesses. The last entry in the church register relates to the death of Hans Poska von Pitschhausen in 1634. From this, Hübsch concludes that the place perished in the Thirty Years' War . According to Hartmann, Poska was slain by invading Croatians. The last mention after Körner, however, was in 1657. According to Hübsch, around 1863 remains of the wall could still be seen.
