The Pizzo Barone is 2864 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Ticino Alps in the Swiss canton of Ticino .
The mountain is located in the southwest part of the Campo Tencia group and dominates the Chironico valley . The summit can be reached via a path from Sonogno . From the Capanna Barone you need two hours (T3) for the ascent.
