Plörnbach is a district of the municipality of Haag an der Amper in the north of the Upper Bavarian district of Freising . Plörnbach is located north of Haag on the ascent from Ampertal into the hill country of the Hallertau . Until its dissolution in 1976, around 350 people lived in the former municipality.

history

Up until the 19th century, Plörnbach belonged to the area of the Moosburg Regional Court (Amt Mauern) and was the seat of an executive committee as a place directly connected to the regional court .

The villages of Oberplörnbach and Unterplörnbach , Mittermarchenbach and Untermarchenbach and the hamlet of Hausmehring were part of the Plörnbach supervisory board .

In the course of the formation of the community after the second community edict, Plörnbach became a politically independent rural community in 1818. The village of Obermarchenbach with the deserted areas of Holzhäusl, Wälschbuch and Wörlhof was affiliated to the community from the former Isareck rulership . Thus, all of the villages designated as Marchenbach were united in the rural community of Plörnbach.

At the 1961 and 1970 censuses, the parish had 279 and 277 inhabitants, respectively.

With the municipal area reform , the municipality of Plörnbach was dissolved on January 1, 1976 and all districts were incorporated into Haag an der Amper . In 1984 the municipality of Haag an der Amper changed the previously existing place names Ober- and Unterplörnbach to the place name Plörnbach, which has been valid since then.
