The Plattenspitze is a 2294 meter high mountain in the area of the Tweng municipality in Obertauern . The summit lies in the Schladminger Tauern and is usually crossed when climbing the Gamskarlspitze ( 2411 m ) to the south .
On the top of the plate there is a 38 meter high tower for the implementation of a passive radio relay .
