Culture and sights
- Catholic parish church Tweng hl. Cross: In 1664 a chapel was built, in 1665 the foundation stone was laid for the church, which was consecrated in 1705 by the Prince-Bishop of Lavant , Johann Sigmund Graf von Kuenburg . According to Ignaz von Kürsinger , Tweng is said to have received his organ (6 stops, 1 manual and pedal) in 1844 , which was made through the active use of the Expositus Reisinger and the charitable contributions of the small community. However, the year 1889 is affixed to the case of the organ, which also corresponds to the life dates of the builder of the instrument, Albert Mauracher . With this instrument, the builder reused three historical registers , based on the design of Johann Ignaz Egedacher . The use of slider chests and the whistle foot intonation are also typical of A. Mauracher's conservative design . The parish has existed since 1891 . Georg Lederwasch from Tamsweg created the paintings in the church. The name of the parish church of the Holy Cross changed over the years to “House of Seventh Pain”.
