Platform for civil conflict management

The Platform for Civil Conflict Management is a network in Germany to promote civil conflict management . It was founded in 1998 in Bad Honnef , is now based in Berlin and currently has 130 individuals and 53 organizations, institutions and groups as members.

Tasks and functions

The platform performs the following tasks:

  • information
  • Public Relations and Education
  • Lobby / advocacy
  • Advice, support and professionalization
  • international networking

Cooperations

The platform for civil conflict management is a member of the Working Group on Peace and Development (FriEnt) and of the civil society advisory board of the federal government for the guidelines "Preventing crises, managing conflicts, promoting peace" (Advisory board for civil crisis prevention and peacebuilding).
