course

The entire river bed of the Płutnica river from the source area to the confluence with the Baltic Sea is located in the historical West Prussian landscape .

The Płutnica rises east of the village of Starzyno ( Groß-Starsin ) in the Starsiner forest district , about twelve kilometers northwest of Puck. It flows first in a north-easterly direction to the village of Starzyński Dwór ( Klein-Starsin ), then south-east through the breakland between the Putziger Kämpe and the Schwarzauer Kämpe , about 2.5 kilometers east past the village of Werblinia ( Werblin ), and flows slightly to the north from Puck to the Zatoka Pucka (Putziger Wiek) .

The catchment area of the Płutnica is about 85 square kilometers; their flow rate at the mouth is about 0.2 m³ to 0.3 m³ of water per second, depending on whether their river water seeps away faster or slower in the dry land in the case of greater or lesser drought.
