Plym stick
Plymstock is a suburb of Plymouth and is located in the English county of Devon , United Kingdom . According to a census in 2001 Plymstock has 24,103 inhabitants.
history
The name of the city comes from Anglo-Saxon and means something like "Holy place on the Plym River" which in turn is named after the neighboring community of Plympton . Plymstock is located on the east bank of the Plym River and is geographically and historically part of the South Hams . In addition to Plymstock, the South Hams also include the neighboring communities of Billacombe, Elburton, Goosewell, Hooe, Mountbatten, Oreston, Pomphlett, Staddiscombe and Turnchapel. A legend , according to which are ghosts of monks at the nearby Childe's tomb roam and a bier forth with him.
