The Poblete Peninsula (in Chile Península Poblete , in Argentina Península De Solier ) is a peninsula on the Danco coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms the northeastern part of the Arctowski Peninsula and separates Hugershoff Cove from the rest of Wilhelmina Bay .

Chilean scientists named her after Mario Poblete Garcés, who was involved in the preparations for the 6th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1951–1952), skipper of the Piloto Pardo in the 20th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1965–1966) and from 1971 director of the Instituto Antártico Chileno . The namesake of the Argentine name, however, has not been passed down.
