Pohradická hora , also Aloisova výšina (German Poratscher Berg , also Aloisiushöhe ) is a 419 m high basalt knoll in the Bohemian Central Uplands in the Czech Republic ( Teplice district , Ústecký kraj ), one kilometer south of Ohníč ( Wohontsch ).
Origin of the name
The mountain got its name after the nearby small village Pohradice ( Poratsch ), which is now abandoned and demolished.
history
On the hilltop that made Prague Archbishop Alois Josef Freiherr von Schrenk († March 5, 1849) to build a tower with summer-house in the years 1848-50, which has a beautiful panoramic view was possible. After the Second World War, the buildings on the hilltop fell into ruins.
