The Pojeta Peak is a 1500 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Heritage Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, it rises 3 km southeast of Bingham Peak in the center of the Webers Peaks .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after John Pojeta Jr. (1935-2017), paleontologist of the United States Geological Survey from 1963, who was involved in an expedition to the Ellsworth Mountains as part of the United States Antarctic Research Program from 1979 to 1980 .
