The Polarbjørnbukta ( Norwegian for polar bay ) is a small ice harbor off the Princess Martha coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . The bay lies on the edge of the Fimbul Ice Shelf .
Norwegian scientists named it after the polar research ship Polarbjørn, built in 2001 .
