Ponta Akrema (Ponta Acrema) is a cape on the East Timorese island of Atauro , which lies in front of the state capital Dili . It forms the northern tip of the island and is located in Suco Biqueli . To the south is the village of Akrema . To the east lies the Wetar Strait , to the west the Banda Sea opens up . The Indonesian island of Liran is in sight to the northeast .
