Pontoon Dock (DLR)
Pontoon Dock is a Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station in the London Borough of Newham . It is located in the Travelcard tariff zone 3 on North Woolwich Road in the Silvertown district .
Following the typical DLR construction, the station is elevated on a viaduct ; it can be reached from the street via stairs and elevators. Up until the beginning of the 21st century, the area was largely characterized by brownfield sites . The first phase of the urban development project with the Barrier Point residential area and Thames Barrier Park (located on the banks of the Thames at Thames Barrier ) has been completed.
Opened the station on 2 December 2005, together with the branch route between Canning Town and King George V .
