Pooh-Man , also MC Pooh , (born January 25, 1971 in Oakland ; real name Lawrence Lee Thomas ) is an American rapper who has released several albums on various labels, including Jive Records . He has been in the music business since the 1990s.

His music content is geared towards sex, money and crime (his song "Sex, Money, and Murder" appeared on the soundtrack for the film Juice - City-War ).

His only album on the charts was Funky as I Wanna Be , released in 1992, which featured singers MC Breed , Too Short , and Ant Banks . The album reached 158th place on the Billboard Top 200 .

Pooh-Man's third released album, Judgment Day, features disses directed against Too Short, Ant Banks, Spice 1 and The Dangerous Crew . The single Run Nigga Run was broadcast on BET radio in the summer of 1993 , but the title was changed to Run Brother Run .

Pooh-Man appeared in the Albert Hughes and Allen Hughes film Menace II Society .
