The Popel (German Aschbach ) is a right tributary of the Opava in the Czech Republic.

The booger has its source one and a half kilometers northeast of Bruntál in the Lower Jeseníky between the U Rozhledny and Vlčí hora hills. The stream initially flows to the southeast and turns sharply to the northeast at Oborná . There it flows into the Opava after seven and a half kilometers in Nové Heřminovy .
