Poznan Marathon

The Poznań Marathon (Polish Poznań Maraton ) is a marathon in Poznań , which has been taking place since 2000. It is organized by the Poznańskie Ośrodki Sportu i Rekreacji (Poznańskie Ośrodki Sportu i Rekreacji) and was the largest marathon in Poland in terms of number of participants until 2011 .

route

The course consists of two rounds. The start is on Ulica Arcybiskupa Antoniego Baraniaka south of Lake Malta. From there, the city center by the cathedral will circumnavigate to the north. Between the residential palace and the city ​​theater , it goes west of the center past south on a loop that leads to Wilda. Via most Królowej Jadwigi you get back to the right bank of the Warta and return to the starting point of the route. After the second round of the round you go to the finish at the canoe halls on Lake Malta.
