The post office in Rottach , a district of the municipality of Rottach-Egern in the Upper Bavarian district of Miesbach , was built in 1926. The post office at Nördliche Hauptstraße 11 is a protected architectural monument .

The building was built according to plans by the Munich architect Franz Holzhammer . The two-storey flat gable roof building in the objectified homeland style has a large wall painting in the gable field, which was created by August Brandes . Access to the arched portal is via a four-step flight of stairs .

The building was expanded in 1935.
