Power Radio is a private radio broadcaster that broadcasts on FM and DAB + in parts of Berlin and Brandenburg . The studio is located in Berlin-Schöneberg . The station, which is primarily aimed at listeners in the Brandenburg region, is in the form of managing director Thomas Thimme as well as in terms of content in the successor to the former Berlin radio station Hundert, 6 .

program

The program is aimed primarily at the target group of 30 to 50 year olds and consists mainly of a broad music program, which ranges from evergreens to current pop music . Power Radio broadcasts 24 hours a day. Messages from the program service provider dpa audio are broadcast on the hour, while regional short messages are read out every half hour on weekdays or distributed throughout the program. Mondays to Fridays from 3:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m., the show Wünsch Dir was , in which only music requests from the listeners are played. In addition, an unmoderated music series is broadcast throughout Sunday, only interrupted by hourly news.

Transmitter seat

Power Radio's broadcasting center is located on Potsdamer Strasse in Berlin-Schöneberg. Radio 100 , Energy Berlin , Radyo Metropol FM and Hundert, 6 have already broadcast from here . In front of the broadcasting center, almost on the corner of Potsdamer Strasse and Bülowstrasse, there is a (speaking) memorial, erected at the instigation of the Governing Mayor of Berlin, which commemorates the start of the first private broadcaster in Berlin in 1987.

Moderators / staff

The station's moderators are Hape Müller (Der Morgen), Dominik Bassin (Der Tag), Diana Richter and caretaker Uli (Make a wish). Former moderators include Franziska Fuchs, Gabor Steiner, Tino Gasel (DJ Tino), Janina Dietz, Dieter Endres, Steffi Seiler, Ben Brecht and Dirk Wierer.
