The Príncipe de Asturias Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Принсипе де Астуриас wrach Prinsipe de Asturias ) is a 4680 m high mountain in the Vinson massif of the Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 3.32 km southwest of the summit of Mount Vinson , 1.33 km west of Silverstein Peak , 5.1 km northeast of Brichebor Peak , 7.68 km southeast of Knutzen Peak and 3.64 km south of Branscomb Peak . The Branscomb Glacier is west-northwest, the Roché Glacier north and the Tułaczyk Glacier southwest of it.
American scientists mapped it in 1988. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the title Prince of Asturias in connection with the first ascent of the mountain on January 23, 1995 by the Spaniards Manuel Álvarez and Alfonso Juez.
