The Silverstein Peak is a 4790  m high and distinctive mountain peak in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 2.1 km southwest of Mount Vinson from the Vinson massif in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2006 after the American mountaineer Samuel Silverstein, a member of the American Antarctic Mountaineering Expedition (1966-1967), which succeeded in the first ascent of the Vinson massif and other high mountains in the Sentinel Range.
