Eduard von Borries
Eduard Ludwig von Borries (born June 27, 1807 in Peine , † June 8, 1872 in Warmbrunn ) was a Prussian politician.
Life
Eduard von Borries came from an old Minden city dynasty, whose family line begins with Hermann Borries, documented 1425-1477, councilor and mayor of Minden . In 1733 the family received confirmation of imperial nobility for the first time . Several more nobility recognitions followed in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Eduard von Borries's father was an accessist and collector. Von Borries was a Protestant denomination. From 1827 he studied law in Berlin. From 1837 to 1843 he was senior regional court assessor, from 1843 to 1847 regional and city judge in Preußisch-Stargard , from 1847 to 1854 district justice director and judicial councilor in Karthaus and from 1854 to 1872 district court director , first in Thorn , later in Warmbrunn.
He was elected to the Frankfurt National Assembly in the Prussian Neustadt (constituency 28) , to which he then belonged from February 3, 1848 to May 21, 1849 in the casino parliamentary group.
