In the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains it flows from the center of the Vinson Plateau, it flows steeply in a westerly direction to the Branscomb Glacier , which it reaches north of Silverstein Peak . Its head end is bounded by Mount Vinson in the north, Corbet Peak and Clinch Peak in the east, Wahlstrom Peak in the southeast and Hollister Peak in the south.
