The Wahlstrom Peak is a 4,677 m high and scharfgratiger mountaintop in West Antarctic Ellsworth Land . It rises 2.9 km southeast of Mount Vinson from the Vinson massif in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2006 after the American mountaineer Richard Wahlstrom, a member of the American Antarctic Mountaineering Expedition (1966-1967), in which the first ascent of the Vinson massif and other high mountains in the Sentinel Range succeeded.
