The 1927-28 season was the second and final regular season of the Prairie Hockey League (PrHL). The Saskatoon Sheiks became masters .
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Calgary Tigers stopped playing.
- The Edmonton Eskimos stopped playing.
- The Moose Jaw Warriors changed their name to Moose Jaw Maroons.

In the regular season, the three teams played between 26 and 28 games. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
