The Regina Capitals were a Canadian ice hockey team from Regina , Saskatchewan . The team played between 1921 and 1933 in the Western Canada Hockey League, among others .

The Regina Capitals was founded in 1921 as a franchise of the Western Canada Hockey League , which was held for the first time . In this they played a total of four years until the league was dissolved. In the 1921/22 season , the team won the WCHL championship. From 1926 to 1928, the Capitals competed in the Prairie Hockey League . The team was then inactive for four years before it was reactivated for the 1932/33 season and moved to the once-only Western Canada Hockey League . There they were relocated to Vancouver , British Columbia , at the end of the season , and ended the season as Vancouver Maroons. A team of the same name played in Vancouver from 1922 to 1926.
