The Portland Rosebuds were an American ice hockey team from Portland , Oregon . The team played between 1914 and 1926 in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association and the Western Hockey League .
history
The franchise of the New Westminster Royals of the Pacific Coast Hockey Association was before the season 1914/15 to Portland, Oregon, relocated and changed its name to Portland Rosebuds. In the league, the team played as the Rosebuds for another four years before becoming inactive. For the 1925/26 season , the Portland Rosebuds were reactivated as a member of the Western Hockey League . When this league was dissolved at the end of the season, the Rosebuds finally stopped playing.
