Prellerhaus is a district of the municipality of Sankt Englmar , about one and a half kilometers north of the main town on the southwest slope of the Pröller .

The only house in the wilderness is managed as a mountain hut.

history

The place is first mentioned in 1838 as Prellerhäusl in the registers of the diocese of Regensburg for the year 1835. The topographical-statistical handbook by Heyberger from 1867 is first mentioned in the historical atlas of Bavaria . Neither source ever mentions more than one residential building. In the 1871 census, eight residents, two buildings and five cattle are found.
