Presicce was an Italian municipality in the province of Lecce in Apulia until May 14, 2019 and is a member of the association I borghi più belli d'Italia (The Most Beautiful Places in Italy). Today Presicce is a district of Presicce-Acquarica .
geography
Presicce has 5285 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2017) and is located about 50 km south of the city of Lecce at the southwest end of the "boot spur" of Italy. The center is about 5 km from the coast of the Golfo di Taranto inland. The neighboring municipalities are Alessano , Salve , Specchia and Ugento .
