Princess Connect! Re: Dive ( プ リ ン セ ス コ ネ ク ト! Re: Dive Purinsesu Konekuto! Redaibu ) is an anime television series by Takaomi Kanasaki , which takes up and continues the plot of the computer game of the same name by Cygames .
The anime is created in the CygamesPictures studio, which belongs to Cygames . The first episode will be shown on Japanese television on April 6, 2020. Crunchyroll acquired the rights to broadcast the series in simulcast, including for Germany . The series follows the adventurer Yūki, who one day wakes up in an unknown place and meets other characters with whom he founds a guild .

One day the adventurer Yūki wakes up in a place unknown to him with no recollections of how he got there. He soon meets the magician Kokkoro, the swordsman Pecorine and Neko Kyaru. Together they found the “ Gourmet ” guild and on their shared adventures they get closer and closer to an unexpected secret.

The director is Takaomi Kanasaki , who has already worked on KonoSuba and Is This a Zombie? is known. He is supported by Kana Hanifuji , who was involved in the creation of Yōjo Senki . The anime is created in the CygamesPictures studio that belongs to Cygames. Lie Jun Yang , Yasuyuki Noda and Satomi Kurita create the character design together . The music in the series is penned by Imagine. With MAO , Miku Itō , Rika Tachibana and Satoshi Abe, the first four voice actors were announced. More voice actors for the series were released on March 22, 2020.
Four days before the first episode was first broadcast on Japanese television, Crunchyroll announced that it would simulcast the series, including in German-speaking countries in the original language with German subtitles .
The first season of the anime series includes thirteen episodes. The production of a second season was announced on August 13, 2020.
