The Priscu Valley is a non-iced high valley in East Antarctic Victoria Land and is one of the Antarctic dry valleys . In the Olympus Range , it is on the east side of the Prentice Plateau . To the north it opens to the head of the McKelvey Valley .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the valley in 2004 after the US geoscientist John Priscu (* 1952) from Montana State University , who was involved in investigations in the Antarctic dry valleys from 1984 to 2002 as part of the United States Antarctic Program .
