Jimmy is a quiet and shy boy. He spends a large part of his free time watching two flight attendants during their sexual role-plays through his telescope . He hides his behavior from his aunt Diane. She worries about his quiet and atypical behavior. When asked if he has any problems, he reacts evasively. For this reason, his aunt hires the tutor Miss Lillian Foxworth and leaves the house to her and Jimmy for a weekend.
Miss Foxworth tries to get to Jimmy's problems, but for the time being he blocks any conversation with her. He goes back to his room to be able to continue his observations. After a while, he begins to masturbate . She discovers this, tries to pretend she hadn't noticed the scene, and secretly investigates it. In doing so, she finds out who gives him this sexual pleasure. She begins to seduce him with a scene from William Shakespeare's drama Hamlet , read with feeling . After the weekend she leaves him and he realizes that he now has to approach others.

Subplots
The film has some subplots that are not necessarily tied to the main story. The film begins with some impressions from the city of Los Angeles .
The flight attendants' role-playing games are a mixture of pet play and other fantasy sex games. Her lovers appear either as rabbits, roosters, robots or as a living penis. The two have a bisexual relationship and spoil each other again and again.
Aunt Diane, on the other hand, dreams in front of the TV that a TV presenter gets out of the TV and sleeps with her. After waking up, she finds her underpants next to the TV. She does masturbation with a vibrator. During her weekend without Jimmy, she has sex with a masseur who looks like the TV presenter from her dreams.
The movie posters for Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back hang in Jimmy's room . There is also a Smurf in Jimmy's room . This should make it clear to the viewer that Jimmy is actually still an inexperienced child.
Background information
The music comes from the music group Horizon . This was only used for the films Private Teacher and Private Moments . Later appearances or albums of the group are not known. The scene in the bathtub was nominated for Best Lascivious Lesbian Scene at the first XRCO Awards in 1985. Some scenes from the film were reused in the documentary A Night for Legends: First Annual XRCO Adult Film Awards .
