Program

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Under programmatic is generally understood as the objective or ideology of associations of persons , mostly in statutes or programs is recorded in writing.

etymology

The word is derived from program ( Greek πρόγραμμα prógramma , "prescribed") and originally referred to the party politics resulting from a party program . The program fulfills three functions, namely identity , orientation and differentiation . A political party has the primary goal of getting as much support as possible from the voters through an election in order to be able to implement its own program points within a government .

Other associations of persons

The term program was carried over from political parties to other forms of organization. Every organization ( academies , working groups , authorities , cooperatives , trade unions , institutes , churches , schools , universities , companies , associations, etc.) pursues at least one precisely defined goal towards which all members align their respective actions . This makes it possible to implement the prescribed goals throughout the organization.
