View from the Pieninenweg
The Przechodni Wierch is a mountain in the Polish Middle Pieninen , a mountain range of the Pieninen , at 552 meters in the Pieninki . The summit is about 150 meters above the Dunajec valley .
Location and surroundings
The Przechodni Wierch lies in the main ridge of the Pieninen in a loop of the river. To the south, east and north of the summit is the Dunajec Gorge , to the north is the Krośnica Valley .
etymology
The Polish name Przechodni Wierch can be translated as passing summit .
tourism
The mountain lies in the Pieninen National Park . It is not open to tourists. However, it is clearly visible from the Sokolica and the Pieninenweg .
