The Przykopa (in Czech Doubravka , on the upper reaches Píšťský potok ) is a left tributary of the Oder in the Czech Republic and Poland .

course

The Píšťský potok rises west of the village Bělá in the Leobschützer Lößhügelland ( Płaskowyż Głubczycki ). Its source is at the U Vodárny crossroads in the Chuchelenský les forest. Bělá, Bělský Mlýn, Pila and Píšť lie on its course, which initially leads east . Before Píšť, the brook is dammed in two reservoirs, the larger of which is called Suchá nádrž .

To the east of Píšť, the Píšťský potok reaches the Polish border and takes in a nameless stream flowing from Owsiszcze. It changes its direction to the north and forms the border between the Czech Republic and Poland over a length of almost two kilometers near Brzeziny. From this point on it is called Doubravka / Przykopa.

The lower reaches of the Przykopa runs through Polish territory. In the village of Bolesław the brook turns to the east and flows next to the Zinna in its wide floodplain. He gives off part of his water to the ditch system on the right side of the Zinna near Bieńkowice. The stream then flows past the northern outskirts of Tworków and meanders through the floodplain between the Oder and Zinna, where it is bridged by the Kędzierzyn-Koźle – Chałupki – Bohumín railway at Tworków station . after 19.2 kilometers the Przykopa flows into the Oder south of Nieboczowy at the settlements Trawnik and Ligota Tworkowska .

The Czech part of the catchment area covers 26.29 km², and 3382 people live there. The average flow rate at the Polish-Czech border is 0.222 m³ / s.
