Psary (German: Psaar ) is a village in the urban and rural municipality Woźniki in the powiat Lubliniecki in the Silesian Voivodeship , Poland . Psary forms a Sołectwo ( Schulzenamt ) and is located about 40 km north of Katowice .

history

The first written record comes from the year 1529. Between 1954 and 1972 the village belonged to the Gromada Psary . The Psary Ward was formed on January 1, 1973, but was dissolved on January 15, 1976. The municipal administration was in the place Lubsza .

From 1973 to 1975 the village belonged to the Katowice Voivodeship and then until 1998 to the Częstochowa Voivodeship .
