Pseudogamy
Under pseudogamy (German: "sham insemination") is understood in the Botany a fertilization without gametes ( " Agamospermy "), but a pollination needs as a trigger. Pollination only provides a chemical signal that sets in motion asexual reproduction ( apomixis ).
The term was introduced by Wilhelm Olbers Focke (plant mixes 1881).
