Puha is a small settlement in the Gisborne District on the North Island of New Zealand .

geography

The settlement is located about 3 km west of Te Karaka , not far from the confluence of the Waikohu River and Waipaoa River . The small village of Whatatutu is 10 km north of the settlement and Gisborne , which is 16 km southeast, can be reached via New Zealand State Highway 2 , which passes the settlement south.
