Samuel Pulido Serrano (born June 18, 1983 in Priego de Córdoba ) is a Spanish biathlete .

Samuel Pulido lives in Jaca . The soldier began biathlon in 2005, and two years later he was promoted to the Spanish national team. He starts for the military sports club EMEM and is trained by Jordan Pentchew. He had his first international assignments in the context of the military world ski championships in 2006 in Andermatt , where he finished 74th in the sprint race. Also in 2007 he started in Võru at the Military World Ski Championships and was 16th of the military patrol run with Sergio Gimeno, Luis Hernando and José Ramón Navarro Pérez , among others . In 2007 the Spaniard made his debut in the European Cup , later the IBU Cup, in Cesana San Sicario , and was 71st of an individual. It was not until 2011 that he won points for the first time in a sprint in Bansko in 23rd place and at the same time achieved his best placement in the second highest racing series. Early in the 2008/09 season Pulido contested his first races in the World Cup in Hochfilzen and came in 119th in the sprint and 121st in the individual. The Spaniard achieved his best World Cup results at the 2012 World Championships in Ruhpolding , his first major international biathlon championship. In the sprint he reached his first top 100 placement as 100th, but still missed a first double-digit result, which he then achieved with 99th place in the individual.
