Punta Acuña ( Spanish ) is a headland on the northeastern extension of Millerand Island in Marguerite Bay off the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula .
Argentine scientists named it after Carlos E. Acuña, the organizer of a rescue trip through the pampas to the Orcadas station on Laurie Island between 1935 and 1936 .
