Punta Figueroa ( Spanish ) is a headland in the west of the Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located southeast of Covadonga Harbor and near the Chilean Bernardo O'Higgins station .
Scientists of the 4th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1949–1950) named them after Jorge Rafael Figueroa, who was part of the crew of the Iquique on this research trip .
