Punta Hermosilla is a bare, rocky headland of Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It lies between Canto Point and Punta Troncoso at the northwest end of Discovery Bay .
Scientists of the 1st Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946–1947) named the headland after Francisco Hermosilla H., who was involved as a photographer on this research trip.
